The femtometer is a physical unit of length.

Definition

A femtometer (abbreviated fmfm) is one 10 1510^{15}th of a meter:

fm10 15m. fm \coloneqq 10^{-15} m \,.

The radius of the proton is about 0.8fm0.8 \, fm.
