Idea

For (X,{,})(X, \{-,-\}) a Poisson manifold, a symplectic leaf is a maximal connected submanifold YXY \hookrightarrow X on which the Poisson bracket restricts to a symplectic manifold structure.

XX is foliated by its symplectic leaves.
