Ivan Vinogradov (Иван Матвеевич Виноградов) was a Russian mathematician working at the Steklov Mathematical Institute in Moscow, known for his numerous contributions to analytic number theory.
He got his PhD degree around 1915 at Saint Petersburg University, supervised by Yakov Uspensky (also published as James Uspensky).
He was the editor-in-chief of the Encyclopaedia of Mathematics.
