A mathematical journal by Koninlijk Wiskundig Genootschap (KWG; Royal Dutch Mathematical Society), previously by Koninklijke Akademie van Wetenschappen (KNAW; Royal Netherlands Academy).
Prior to 1990, this journal existed under different names (used in parallel) and different volume numbering schemes (also used in parallel). See the Wikipedia page for more information.
Chronology:
1895: Founded under the title of Koninklijke Akademie van Wetenschappen: Proceedings of the Section of Sciences.
1939: Mathematics articles published separately, with alternative title (used in parallel) Indagationes Mathematicae, with 41 subtracted from the volume number.
1951: Split into three journals. Series A (Mathematical Sciences) published by North-Holland under the alternative title (used in parallel) Indagationes Mathematicae (Proceedings).
1990: Published under the sole title of Indagationes Mathematicae. Volume numbering reset to 1.
