nLab Littlewood-Richardson coefficient

References

When multiplying Schur functions:

s λs μ= νc λ,μ νs νs_\lambda\cdot s_\mu= \sum_\nu c^\nu_{\lambda,\mu}s_\nu

The coefficients, c λ,μ νc^\nu_{\lambda,\mu}, are called the Littlewood–Richardson coefficients.

There are various combinatorial models for the LittlewoodRichardson coefficients.
