nLab Littlewood-Richardson coefficient

When multiplying Schur functions:

$$s_\lambda\cdot s_\mu= \sum_\nu c^\nu_{\lambda,\mu}s_\nu$$

The coefficients, $c^\nu_{\lambda,\mu}$, are called the Littlewood–Richardson coefficients.

There are various combinatorial models for the Littlewood–Richardson coefficients.
