Marcus Kracht is a German modal logician and (mathematical) linguist. His work in linguistics comprises among others mathematical models of the Chomskian GB framework, application of modal logic to syntax, application of dynamic logic? to argument structure (“referent systems”), and, the study of compositionality.
He currently helds the chair in Computational Linguistics and Mathematical Linguistics at Universität Bielefeld.
