stable space

A stable space, in the sense of shape theory, is a space for which the corresponding Cech nerve prosimplicial set, Cˇ(X,):Cov(X)Ho(sSets\check{C}(X,-) : Cov(X)\to Ho(sSets), is a stable pro-object.
