Edwin Spanier

Edwin Spanier was an American mathematician at the University of California at Berkeley, working in algebraic topology. He is probably best known as the author of the influential textbook on Algebraic Topology, initially published by McGraw Hill in 1966, with a corrected reprint by Springer, 1981,
