Charles Ehresmann(1905-1979) was a French mathematician.
He was a founding member of Bourbaki. He is famous for his work in differential geometry and for creating the french school of category theory. He founded the Cahiers with Andrée-Charles Ehresmann. He supervised Jean Benabou.
