Jean Alexandre Eugène Dieudonné (1906-1992) was a French mathematician.
He was a founding member of Bourbaki, and a driving force behind the group for many decades. With Laurent Schwartz?, he supervised Alexander Grothendieck for his Phd. He collaborated with Grothendieck for writing the EGA?. He was president of the university of Nice from 1964 to 1970 and founded the mathematics departement.
