## Idea

The Gelfand–Neumark theorem (alternative spelling transliterated from the Russian: Gel’fand–Naĭmark; Гельфанд–Наймарк) says that every C*-algebra is isomorphic to a $C^\ast$-algebra of bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space.
