nLab Thompson sporadic group

Idea

The Thompson group is a sporadic finite simple group in the third generation of the Happy Family. It is of order $2^{15}\cdot 3^{10}\cdot 5^3 \cdot 7^2 \cdot 13 \cdot 19 \cdot 31 = 90745943887872000$.

(Note that this group is different from the three Thompson groups.)
