Consideration of electricmagnetic duality in massive type IIA string theory suggests the existence of something like a Dpbrane for $p = 2$, being the object which couples to the differential 0form RRfield $F_0$, that is Hodge dual to the $F_{10}$ that the D8brane couples to.
