Idea

Consideration of electric-magnetic duality in massive type IIA string theory suggests the existence of something like a Dp-brane for p=2p = -2, being the object which couples to the differential 0-form RR-field F 0F_0, that is Hodge dual to the F 10F_{10} that the D8-brane couples to.
