Idea

In quantum hadrodynamics, the Φ\Phi-meson is a the Lorentz vector and isospin scalar bound from

  1. an up or down-quark (from the first generation of fundamental particles)

  2. a strange quark (from the second generation of fundamental particles.

Hence a heavy meson with respect to 2-flavor chiral perturbation theory.
